Account Manager
Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

Creation and management of new data center infrastructure hardware, software and services sales opportunities.
Creation and management of account plans for tier 1 and tier 2 named accounts.
Ongoing development of relationships with executive level (decision maker) customers and prospects and mid level management personnel in new and existing customers.
Provides ongoing input and direction to marketing, inside sales and professional services team members on what campaigns and activities need to be delivered to prospects and customers.
Works closely with a network of Vendor Partners, including Hewlett Packard, EMC, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft to ensure the successful marketing of ITP solutions. Builds rapport and educates customer by using internal and external resources.
Acting as the account quarterback, directs key internal resources and partners within accounts and executes a strategic sales process and series of communication campaigns within accounts and territory to achieve GP quotas and goals.
Articulates IT Partners Value and provides an overview of IT Partners product portfolio and services.
Prioritizes high potential sales opportunities (with customer and ITP Mgmt.).
Generate a sales pipeline, identifies and qualifies opportunities, accurately forecasts pipeline opportunities and drives opportunities to close.
Leads and develops opportunity win strategies using customer's growth plans, budget, and project timelines. Establishes plans with Sales Development/Inside Sales team members to accelerate the migration of leads into sales.
Submits and presents the customer with a finalized collaborative proposal with solutions, justifications, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
Engages sales management, executive team members or other customers to validate the business impact with the CXO level.
Develops a relationship development and account growth plan that ensures high post sales satisfaction and enables repeat business with customers.

Experience and Education

4 year degree and 5+ years experience required in a direct sales role.

Completion of strategic selling, solution selling, targeted account selling training.

Experience selling enterprise, data center type solutions including storage, network, and servers or large enterprise applications such as ERP/CRM/BI is a plus.
Knowledge of the local market and a having a network of industry contacts and customers relationships is a plus.
3+ years of achievement and consistently ranked in the top 20% of your sales organization.
Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to manage multiple and complex sales campaigns within upper mid market and large enterprise accounts.
Experience having executive level discussions and has a proven ability to speak about various business and financial topics such as Opex/Capex.
The ability to read a business financial statement / 10K and present technological solutions that solve business challenges to all levels of an organization.

A Proven track record of 3-5 years of progressive accomplishments within your field of work.
